Frequently Asked Questions ...
Has anyone heard of the artist / painter MAX.V? He / She paints Mexican / Latin American city / Landscapes?
My husband was the purchase of these beautiful paintings of Mexican / Latin American city / landscapes from ebay (search for "Latin American Watercolor "and you will see it first, I'm not sure if this is the same with the painter, because it is difficult to distinguish the signature) of someone who signs they "MAX.V" or maybe it's "Mex.V," I do not, it's hard to say. They are born, I am not a guru of art, but the images look like they would have done somewhere between 1930-1950's. Anyway, it seems that most pictures in real estate / demolition purchased sales. I want to find a little more information about the artist, if at all possible. I really hope someone out there knows something.

Vintage Costume Jewelry: Great Small Business Opportunity!
Authentic costume jewelry, originally made popular during the "years crazy ", is considered a hot collector item today and has rapidly appreciated in value in recent years. Vintage costume necklaces, bracelets and other parts were purchased by American soldiers in French boutiques and home after the First World War. U.S. companies began to dominate the costume jewelry design and manufacturing of the late 1920s forward. Signed vintage costume necklaces, rings and other pieces worth more money. Some popular American companies known to produce high quality parts and very collectable as follows:
Trifari
Eisenberg
Art
Carnegie
Coventry
But why some jewelry worth more than others and how do you identify parts collectibles? The first true costume jewelry appeared in theaters throughout Europe before being brought back to return to the United home by American GI's in World War I. American manufacturers began to dominate the industry from the 1920s forward. Trifari, Coro, and dozens of American manufacturers soon began to produce drawings and documents which form part of collectibles most popular on the vintage market today. If you know what you are looking for and can distinguish the worthless knock-offs Eisenberg authentic necklaces and other pieces of the above, then you can literally make a large living room - and have fun in the process! The value is determined by:
The scarcity of parts
Request
Design
Quality construction and materials
Current Status
The supply of vintage pieces is not uniformly distributed which is a important reason why there is so much variety in prices. The jewelry itself was supplied by dozens of manufacturers. Batch sizes can vary considerably from one company to another. Coventry, Coro, and other major manufacturers often make thousands of pieces for each design. On the other side of the coin, McClelland, Marchand and many smaller players could produce a few hundred of each design. When prices of other variables are held constant pieces signed by small businesses tend to be worth more money. However, further research is needed because manufacturers sometimes produce more batches of specialty. These are smaller lots to make the parts more valuable than other products by the same company.
A jewel may be rare, but little demand control for one reason or another that will greatly influence value. Basically, the more demand, the higher the price and vice versa. For those looking for hot spots today, signed Miriam Haskell vintage jewelry is the best bet being a bit eccentric in design. Be able to identify hot spots of pretty imitators is what separates successful amateur collectors simple. Avid collectors tend to include popular pieces in their collections because they are more profitable. In many cases, the collector does not even like the particular song!
So what are the factors really affect the application of any given piece of jewelry? The request for a song is stimulated by most of the designing of jewelry. experienced collectors not hesitate to flee signed a piece for an unsigned one featuring a unique and impressive design. Ultimately, the part not signed is often profitable, because it controls a greater demand. Much of the stock of vintage costumes everything is signed, despite having made by some of the most respected companies in the industry. Being able to identify the quality of designs is exceptional a way to identify unsigned pieces, but valuable. Some of the most profitable unsigned pieces by the manufacturers who regularly drawing high quality include those by Holycraft and Florenza.
The quality of the stones and handicrafts ultimately determine the success and popularity Overall the entire design. In particular, the gem quality is of particular importance to the value of any vintage piece of jewelry. Gemstones of outstanding quality were routinely used by some major manufacturers. jewelry design by Bogoff, Weiss and Eisenberg tend to be collectibles valuable primarily because of their exceptional quality.
Unless you happen to bump into a piece unsigned Eisenberg, it will be difficult to find this high quality jewelry at bargain prices. If you try to find some profitable pieces to buy cheap price, but still many orders with serious investors, look for jewelry made by these companies:
Danecraft
Kramer
Bogoff
Weiss
Monet
The final part of the valuation is based on the current value of the jewelry. Expect lower values for period costume pieces that have discoloration, rust, excessive wear marks, or even lost stones. Despite apparent signs of wear, most vintage jewelry is even more valuable today than when they were sold. But if you know how to find the gems unsigned hide in flea markets and online auctions every day, then you can really make a bundle of collection elements period costume - even those with signs of excessive wear!
