What to put in your Cookie Jar
As a kid, there was always a cookie jar on the counter, and yes, it was always filled cookies. Sometimes house and sometimes store bought. My house we have a cookie jar on the table, but it is not filled cookies. It is filled with a mixture mountaineer.
With my oldest child who grows the size and appetite, a husband with a tooth late night sweet and I always looking for way to eat without feeling full during the pregnancy, I was always getting creative with snacks and fresh produce. In the kitchen one day I realized I kept our great trail mix hidden in the pantry where we forget about it until I had this idea:

Every time I go grocery shopping, I give my daughter nearly seven years of the task and total freedom to find these articles:
-2 Nut Varieties
-2 Seed Varieties
-2 Varieties of dried fruit
When you get home, pour the contents into a clean and clear with a ¼ cup measure to scoop and counter space. Tell your children to come and do it!
You can take a step further, making the nuts more digestible by soaking overnight. Pour into a bowl of water filtered, mix one teaspoon of sea salt and allow them to sit until morning. Turn oven to lowest setting in the morning and rinse the nuts, then pour them into a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 12-24 hours. You shake them every two hours, and decide when they are at crisis level you want. Once done, remove and cool completely before adding the contents of the jar.

A cashew nut bag
1 bag of pecans
1 bag of sunflower seeds
1 bag of sesame seeds
1 bag dried Craisins
1 bag of dried peaches, chop in small pieces
