One of the most popular places to see the fruits of creative work is the museum Folk Art of Cancun, known locally as the Museo de Arte Popular Mexicano. Located on the second floor of El Embarcadero Marina in Cancun Hotel Zone Folk Art Museum presents all the traditional Mexican masks and costumes, religious objects and toys made by hand. With nearly 15,000 square feet of exhibition space, the museum is able to tell many stories in both local culture and history of the Mexican people. Besides all the art objects on display, the gift shop on site is also a place to buy locally produced oddities. In addition, the museum Folk Art offers a night fun and affordable activity, remaining open to the public until at least 21 hours each day.

The best selection of two commercial art galleries and individual providers is the sprawling Plaza Kukulcan. Known primarily for its number of stores in high-end clothing and jewelry, Plaza Kukulcan is also a lively art market. In the common areas of shopping, local artists are allowed to present their work and sell directly to the public every day. Although he trained as an architect in Mexico, Bustamante has spent years combining Chinese and Indian influences with the traditions of Mexican art. The result is a collection of sculptures and ceramics with a distinctive sense of humor, realism guided spiritually superior workmanship. With additional locations in the Plaza Caracol and La Isla, the Xaman-Ek Gallery also sell all types of locally manufactured products, including jewelry, painting and sculpture folk art.
As you tour the galleries and museums in Cancun, you can also expect to see work inspired by ancient Mayan culture. As the city is located between scores of ancient ruins in the heart of the Riviera Maya, the imagery of the ancient civilization has always found its place in museums and galleries. For Hunters Souvenir and art collectors, the most popular are the experts in Cancun reproductions of works of Mayan art. One of those artists who work in this style is a painter and scholar Miguel Castro Maya.
