Overview
The Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog was developed in the region Alapaha River in the southern part of Georgia in the 1800s. At first these dogs were used as guard dogs and cattle. The Alapaha Blue Bulldog Blood is a descendant of the original Bulldogs happened in the United States from England, similar to the American Bulldog in the 1700s. These dogs have been around for nearly three generations - and were used as guard dogs in the plantations. This breed is also known as "Otto" to see that they are direct descendants of Buck Lane Bulldog guard dogs - including one with the name of Otto.
Temperament
The Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog shows incredible stamina, and the dogs are very soft and natural. They are very strong, but also alert. These dogs have been called Blue Blood because they have a noble way about them. The Alapaha Family Care and its owner's property instinct, but they are not aggressive dogs. They will however go to great lengths to protect their families. In general, Alapaha along well with children and other dogs, but they can attack when they feel threatened. These dogs will be aggressive when they need to defend themselves or their families, so they have not to be on a chain when it is closed. The Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog is very lively and attentive, and they have a lot of heart. This breed made wonderful companion dogs.
Care
The grooming needs of these dogs are not very high, and the coat requires the Alapaha minimum attention for her to remain in good condition. These dogs can be brushed occasionally so that dead hair can be removed - these dogs are average shedding dogs. The Alapaha should not be bathed too often, once every two weeks.
Training
The Alapaha is a very easy dog to train because of his high intelligence, but training must be started at a very young age. They are also very good when it comes to obedience training, and have problems using the ability to solve. These dogs are also very easy to clean, and also no trouble walking on a leash.
Health problems
Because the genetic of these dogs is very low, they tend to develop health problems such as entropion, which is a version of the eyelids.
