How has the Cuban Revolution influence a new current in Latin American art?

It was the era of liberation from all oppression. If there is one thing that Central America did well, it was oppression. The Cuban Revolution was seen as the "People's Revolution" and the rest of the people in the area were eager to throw their oppressors. Although the colonial powers were away, the leaders were evil place. The artists were inspired by the whole social current flowing through the region.

The modern American art and African artists
Like many artists who use cultural and ethnic heritage as a source of inspiration for their art, modern art African American often has strong roots in Africa. For many African American artists, the Southern United States represents also considerable emphasis on the composition and purpose of their work. There is a growing awareness of this unique form of expression and artists who create the works. For many years African American art has been tagged as crafts and seriously under-estimated. Fortunately this trend is changing and people from all ethnic backgrounds and lifestyles have more opportunities to see and learn from the American modern art in Africa. To better appreciate these artists, it is important to take a look at some of the African-American artists who paved the path.
O. Henry Tan (1859-1937) is best known for his painting "The Banjo Lesson." Initially his work reflects the black experience and impressions of this life. Later he added more to the modern African American art with works of religious influence. Mr. Tanner made several trips to the Holy Land to find inspiration for his art.
As might be expected, the American era of slavery often plays an important role in modern American art in Africa. This is certainly true work of Claude Clark. A native of Georgia, he has his work with strong style and themes, South Africa. His style is direct and intent of his work is clear. One of his most best-known paintings and "Slave lynching" comment is a clear climate office of the era of slavery.
It is unlikely to be an art lover who has never heard of the Renaissance Harlem. Aaron Douglas did some of his finest works from this period. The wall paintings of the Harlem Renaissance are popular and some of the work of Douglas can be seen in libraries and public buildings in this form. His work is simple and two-dimensional, representing the life of the South through his eyes. Many consider it to be one the most important artists to come South. His painting African-American has been recognized in the 1950s and continues to inspire.
Whatever the chosen subject and media, modern art of Afro-American is finally receiving the attention and praise it deserves. One of the most famous of Africa and the famous African-American contemporary artist, Mr. Ogundipe has exhibited extensively in Africa, Europe and the United States. His paintings have been described as hypnotic, colorful and densely patterned.
In 1996, Mr. Ogundipe was awarded the Pollock-Krasner. And in 2005 he was invited to join Africobra, an organization founded in the 1960s and whose members consists of eminent African-American artists.
